From the 20th till the 21st of April 2005 in hotel "Holiday Inn Vinogradovo" near Moscow the regular scientific and technical conference Microsoft Academic Days took place. These conferences are regularly conducted by Microsoft corporation throughout the world. Целью этих конференций является презентация и обсуждение текущих разработок и направлений дальнейшего развития технологий Microsoft и Microsoft Research в области программной инженерии и информатики. Особое внимание будет уделено Microsoft .NET Framework и платформе Microsoft в целом. Данная конференция дает участникам не только отличную возможность узнать больше про различные аспекты технологий Microsoft, но и встретиться в неформальной обстановке с докладчиками, другими участниками конференции из университетов России и СНГ, исследователями из Microsoft Research и менеджерами по разработке продуктов корпорации Microsoft. В конференции приняло участие около 250 представителей университетов России и СНГ - профессора, доценты и аспиранты, занимающиеся преподаванием или исследованиями в области программирования.
